Founded in 1998 by Carl and Marilynn Thoma, Van Duzer Vineyards was a pioneer in establishing the Van Duzer Corridor AVA as a premier winegrowing region. They recognized early on that the daily maritime winds flowing into the Willamette Valley would produce Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris of exceptional structure and elegance.
Van Duzer Vineyards is situated in the direct path of the cool ocean winds blowing through the Van Duzer Corridor, which moderates temperatures and allows grapes to retain high natural acidity. The winery and vineyard focus on sustainable farming practices to capture this unique microclimate in every estate bottling.
