The story behind it
Founded in 1882 by the Czechoslovakian Korbel brothers in Sonoma County, the winery pioneered the production of premium California sparkling wine. Over the decades, it has grown to become the premier choice for American celebrations, including numerous US Presidential inaugurations.
Established in the Russian River Valley, Korbel utilizes the traditional Méthode Champenoise process to create expressive sparkling wines. Every bottle is individually fermented in the same bottle from which it is served to ensure optimal quality and bubble refinement.
