Kona Brewing Company was founded in 1994 by father and son team Cameron Healy and Spoon Khalsa in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Their dream was to create fresh, local beers that reflected the natural beauty and spirit of the Hawaiian islands.
Inspired by the legendary waves of Oahu's Makaha Beach, this golden ale is crafted in the traditional island style. The brewhouse uses specialty malts and a custom blend of tropical hops to deliver its signature sunshine-bright character.
