The story behind it
Founded in 2011 by college friends Ross Brockman and Tyler Mosher in Maine, Downeast Cider House eventually relocated its operations to Boston, Massachusetts. Their commitment to leaving the cider unfiltered has defined the brand as a pioneer in the craft cider industry.
Downeast Cider House was built on the belief that pure, unfiltered apple juice makes the best cider. Eschewing the industry standard of using apple concentrate and artificial flavorings, the brewery presses freshly harvested local apples directly at their facility.
