First crafted in 1995 at the SandLot Brewery in Denver, Colorado, this beer was inspired by the classic witbiers of Belgium. The head brewmaster altered the traditional recipe by adding Valencia orange peel instead of tart Curaçao orange, creating a sweeter, more approachable profile for American drinkers.
