Stella Rosa was created in 2003 by the Riboli family of San Antonio Winery in Los Angeles, California, with the goal of producing low-alcohol, semi-sweet Italian wines. Recognizing a demand for light, easy-drinking styles, they partnered with family-owned vineyards in Piedmont to establish what has become America's leading imported Italian wine brand.
Crafted in the Asti region of Piedmont, Italy, this wine is made by selecting high-quality grapes that undergo a fermentation process optimized for natural carbonation. The winemakers then blend the wine with natural fruit distillates to deliver its signature, vibrant fruit character.
