Narragansett Brewing Company was founded in 1890 in Cranston, Rhode Island, by a group of passionate German immigrants known as the 'Original Six'. It grew to become the largest brewery in New England, famously sponsoring the Boston Red Sox for decades before being revived in the 21st century.
