The story behind it
MAN Family Wines was founded in 2001 by José Condé and brothers Tyrrel and Philip Myburgh. Named after their wives—Marie, Anette, and Nicky—to keep peace at home during long weekends of winemaking, the winery has grown from a small-batch passion project into an internationally recognized brand.
Sourced from dry-land vineyards in the Coastal Region of South Africa, where shale soils yield concentrated fruit. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel before a portion of the wine is aged in French oak barrels to add structure and complexity.
