The story behind it

The maker

Lobos 1707 was founded by Diego Osorio, who named the brand after his ancestor who transported Oaxacan spirits to Spain in the 17th century. With high-profile investors including LeBron James, the brand merges historical Oaxacan techniques with modern cultural prestige.

How it is made

Crafted in the steep highlands of Oaxaca, Mexico, using 100% Espadín agave that is roasted in conical earthen pit ovens. The agave is then crushed by a traditional stone tahona wheel before natural fermentation and copper pot distillation.
