The story behind it
Lakefront Brewery was founded in 1987 by brothers Russ and Jim Klisch in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Renowned for its innovative spirit, Lakefront was the first certified organic brewery in America and continues to lead the craft beer community with traditional European styles and local pride.
Lakefront Brewery's Oktoberfest is brewed in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot, using traditional German Münchner malt to establish its rich color and body. Mt. Hood hops are selected for their gentle bitterness, creating a well-balanced tribute to Munich's historic autumn festival.
