Founded in London, Ontario, in 1847 by John Kinder Labatt, the Labatt Brewing Company grew to become one of Canada's most historic and iconic breweries. Over nearly two centuries, it has pioneered brewing standards and remains a definitive symbol of classic Canadian lager heritage.
Brewed in Canada since 1951, Labatt Blue was originally launched under the name Labatt Pilsener. It quickly earned its legendary 'Blue' moniker from the color of its label and the brand's long-standing support of Winnipeg's Canadian Football League team.
