The story behind it
Founded in 1803 by the Bernhard Schadeberg family, Krombacher has grown to become Germany's largest privately owned brewery. Nestled in the Siegerland region, the family-run estate continues its centuries-old commitment to natural ingredients and traditional brewing excellence.
Brewed in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516, this pilsner utilizes the legendary Felsquellwasser (mountain spring water) found locally in Krombach. The brewery utilizes a specially developed de-alcoholization process that gently removes the alcohol while preserving the beer's essential hop and malt characters.
