The story behind it
The maker
Founded in 1691 by Joannes Nolet in Schiedam, Netherlands, the Nolet Distillery has passed through over ten generations of family distillers. Over three centuries of distilling expertise culminated in the 1983 creation of Ketel One Vodka by Carolus Nolet, named after the original coal-fired copper pot still, Distilleerketel No. 1.
How it is made
Distilled at the historic Nolet Distillery, this vodka combines modern column distillation with the flavor-enhancing properties of copper pot stills. The final blend is personally tasted and approved by a member of the Nolet family before bottling.
