Harpoon Brewery was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1986 by three friends, Rich Doyle, Dan Kenary, and George Ligeti, with a passion for craft beer. They were issued Massachusetts Brewing Permit Number 1, marking the historic revival of brewing in Boston. Today, Harpoon is proud to be an employee-owned brewery that continues to craft diverse, flavorful beers.
