The maker
Harpoon Brewery was founded in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1986 by Rich Doyle, Dan Kenary, and George Ligeti. They received Massachusetts brewing permit number one, helping to introduce craft beer to New England, and became employee-owned in 2014.
