The legendary South African sparkling wine with presidential pedigree

This elegant sparkling wine showcases crisp green apple and bright citrus on the nose, accompanied by a light yeasty complexity. The palate is beautifully balanced with a creamy texture, fresh acidity, and a fine, persistent mousse that leads to a clean finish.

The story behind it

The maker

Founded in 1983 by entrepreneur Graham Beck in the Western Cape of South Africa, the estate was established with the vision of producing world-class sparkling wines that rival the finest Champagnes. Known affectionately as 'Sparkling Beck,' the winery's Cap Classique has famously been poured at the inaugurations of both Nelson Mandela and Barack Obama.

How it is made

Produced at the state-of-the-art Graham Beck winery & vineyard in Robertson, this sparkling wine is crafted using the traditional Méthode Cap Classique. The unique limestone-rich soils of the region provide the ideal terroir for growing premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes with excellent natural acidity.
