The story behind it

The maker

Founded in 1828 by Emmanuel Courvoisier and Louis Gallois in Paris, the house later relocated to Jarnac to be at the heart of the region's production. Renowned as the 'Cognac of Napoleon' after a historic visit by the Emperor, Courvoisier has spent nearly two centuries perfecting its art of blending.

How it is made

Crafted using grapes harvested from the Fins Bois and Petite Champagne crus of Cognac, France. The brand uses bespoke micro-distillation in small-batch copper pot stills followed by aging in fine-grained French oak barrels to maintain its signature fruit-forward style.
