Clown Shoes was founded in 2009 by Gregg Berman, who set out to brew beers with unique flavor profiles and creative, graphic-novel-style label art. Over the years, the brand has grown a dedicated following for its innovative beers and was acquired by Harpoon Brewery's parent company, Mass. Bay Brewing Company, in 2017.
