Barrell Foundation Bourbon is a masterful blend of straight bourbon whiskeys ranging from 5 to 15 years old. This expression showcases the art of blending with classic notes of vanilla, oak, and light rye spice, supported by subtle layers of dark cherry and creamy nougat.
In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, syrup, and bitters. Fill with ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube, express the orange peel over the glass, and use it as a garnish.
