The story behind it
Banfi was founded in 1978 by Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani with the goal of creating a state-of-the-art winery in Tuscany and Piedmont. Their dedication to clonal research and sustainable viticulture has made them one of Italy's premier wine exporters.
Crafted in the Strevi region of Piedmont, this historic sparkler is made from 100% Brachetto grapes grown in single-vineyard estates. Banfi utilizes a cold-maceration process and Charmat-method fermentation in stainless steel to preserve the grape's highly aromatic, fresh berry character.
