The story behind it

The maker

The Catena family, pioneers of high-altitude viticulture in Argentina, established Alamos in 1993 to showcase the superb quality of Mendoza's mountain wines. Under the leadership of third-generation vintner Laura Catena, the winery blends traditional practices with modern innovation to craft expressive, food-friendly wines.

How it is made

Alamos is crafted from high-altitude vineyards nestled in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. Mendoza's intense sunlight and cool mountain nights allow the grapes to develop incredibly concentrated fruit flavors and balanced acidity.
