7 Deadly Zins was born from a tongue-in-cheek play on the seven deadly sins, created by brothers Michael and David Phillips in Lodi, California. They sought out seven of Lodi's most renowned old-vine vineyards to craft a singularly decadent and bold Zinfandel. Today, it remains one of America's favorite representations of California's historic old-vine vineyards.
Sourced from the sun-drenched Lodi AVA, this wine is crafted from historic old vine Zinfandels that thrive in sandy clay loam soils. The unique Mediterranean climate of Lodi allows these low-yielding old vines to produce exceptionally concentrated and expressive fruit.
