The story behind it
Urban Artifact was founded in 2015 by Bret Kollmann Baker, Scott Hand, and Scott Hunter in the former St. Patrick's church. The brewery is dedicated to sour beers, wild fermentation, and beers brewed with massive amounts of real, natural fruit.
Brewed in Cincinnati's historic Northside neighborhood, this beer is a showcase of the brewery's specialization in wild yeast and real fruit. The brewhouse utilizes hundreds of pounds of whole fruit per batch to achieve their signature Midwest Fruit Tart style.
