The story behind it
The maker
The Kraken brand was launched in 2010 by Proximo Spirits, taking its name from the mythical sea beast of legend. Housed in a distinctive Victorian-style flagon bottle with dual loop handles, the brand became an instant icon in the spiced rum category for its dark, unapologetic character.
How it is made
This dark spiced rum is distilled in Trinidad from sweet molasses made from locally grown sugarcane. It is aged in oak barrels for up to two years before being infused with a proprietary blend of thirteen secret spices.
