The story behind it
Founded in 2014 by Shannon Edgar in Sherborn, Massachusetts, Stormalong Cider was born out of a desire to showcase the historic terroir of New England apples. Named after the legendary giant sailor Alfred Bulltop Stormalong, the cidery honors traditional press techniques to create deep, expressive ciders.
Stormalong is dedicated to reviving historic American cider culture using traditional methods. Their cidermaking process highlights the natural richness of heirloom and cider-specific apple varieties sourced from local orchards.
