The story behind it

The maker

The Spencer Brewery was founded by the monks of St. Joseph's Abbey in Spencer, Massachusetts, establishing the first certified Trappist brewery outside of Europe. The monks combined traditional Belgian brewing techniques with American local hops and barley to produce deeply authentic, spiritual beers.

How it is made

Brewed inside the St. Joseph's Abbey, this exceptional beer is crafted in the solemn tradition of Belgian Trappist monks. Every batch from this historic brewhouse supports the monastic community and its charitable missions.
