Smooj was launched in 2020 by the team behind Homes Brewery in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Seeking to blur the lines between hard seltzer, craft beer, and tropical cocktails, they created a viral sensation that redefined the flavored malt beverage landscape.
Born out of Troobado, a creative craft beverage lab in Ann Arbor, Smooj pioneered the hard seltzer smoothie category. Each batch is heavily blended with real fruit purees to achieve its signature thick, smoothie-like consistency.
