The story behind it
The Antinori family has been committed to winemaking in Tuscany for more than six hundred years, since Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the Florentine Guild of Winemakers in 1385. Throughout twenty-six generations of family ownership, they have combined deep reverence for tradition with pioneering viticulture across their iconic estates.
Santa Cristina was originally introduced in 1946 by Marquis Niccolò Antinori as a representative Tuscan red. Over the decades, it has evolved into a benchmark for accessible quality, sourced from selected vineyards in the historic heart of Tuscany.
