Elegant Sonoma Chardonnay with creamy pear and toasted oak

The story behind it

The maker

Rodney Strong Vineyards was founded in 1959 by modern wine pioneer Rodney Strong, who was among the first to focus on single-vineyard Sonoma County wines. Today, the winery continues its dedication to sustainable winegrowing and family-owned craftsmanship in the heart of Sonoma.

How it is made

Established in 1965, the Chalk Hill AVA is defined by its volcanic soils and warm climate tempered by cooling evening maritime fog. This unique terroir allows Chardonnay grapes to ripen slowly, developing intense fruit character and excellent natural acidity.
