The story behind it

The maker

Founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by Mikkel Borg Bjergsø, Mikkeller began as a gypsy brewery experimenting with bold flavors in a kitchen. It has since grown into an internationally acclaimed craft pioneer, famous for pushing the boundaries of beer styles and collaboration.

How it is made

Crafted at Mikkeller's specialized barrel-aging facilities, this wild ale undergoes spontaneous fermentation to capture the unique ambient microflora. It is then aged in oak barrels with real yuzu fruit to merge traditional Belgian lambic-style brewing with vibrant Asian citrus.
