The story behind it
The Il Borro estate was purchased in 1993 by Ferruccio Ferragamo, who fell in love with the ancient medieval village and its surrounding Tuscan hills. Guided by a vision of complete environmental respect, the Ferragamo family meticulously restored the winery and vineyards, converting the entire estate to certified organic farming.
Produced at the historic Il Borro estate in the heart of Tuscany, which is dedicated to preserving local biodiversity and traditional winemaking. The grapes are carefully harvested and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats before aging in oak barrels to develop complexity.
