This award-winning, barrel-strength bourbon is extraordinarily complex, offering deep notes of butterscotch, oak, and dark stone fruits. Bottled uncut and unfiltered directly from the cask, it delivers a robust and intensely flavorful palate with a long, warming finish.
In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, demerara syrup, and bitters. Fill with ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain over a single large ice cube into a double rocks glass and express an orange peel over the glass before dropping it in.

Horse Soldier Bourbon was founded by retired U.S. Army Special Forces veterans who were among the first to enter Afghanistan on horseback after 9/11, famously known as the 'Horse Soldiers'. They established the distillery to honor their brotherhood and create an authentic, world-class American whiskey.
Crafted by the legendary American Freedom Distillery, this expression is distilled using copper pot stills and aged in deep-charred new American oak barrels. The glass bottle itself is uniquely molded from steel salvaged from the World Trade Center site after September 11.
