Named after the founder's wife, Gloria, the winery was built to realize her dream of producing world-class sparkling wines in California. Decades later, they remain pioneers of sustainable viticulture in the wind-swept hills of Carneros.
Gloria Ferrer was founded in 1986 by the Ferrer family of Spain, who brought centuries of sparkling wine expertise to Sonoma County. It was the very first sparkling wine house established in the Carneros region, famous for its cool-climate Pinot Noir.
