The story behind it
George Killian's Irish Red traces its lineage back to the Lett's Brewery in Ireland, which closed in 1956. Coors Brewing Company purchased the brand rights in the 1980s, scaling up production of this legendary amber lager for modern beer enthusiasts while honoring its historical Irish roots.
Based on an original Irish recipe created in 1854 in Enniscorthy, Ireland, by the Killian family. It is crafted in the United States using a slow-roasted caramel malt process that imparts both its deep copper color and subtle toasted sweetness.
