Escudo Rojo was created in 1999 by the historic French winemaking family Baron Philippe de Rothschild. Named as a Spanish translation of the family's historic 'Red Shield' emblem, this venture reflects their commitment to producing world-class wines in Chile's finest valleys.
Crafted in the exceptional microclimates of Chile, Escudo Rojo represents the perfect union of Bordeaux expertise and South American terroir. The grapes are carefully selected and fermented at controlled temperatures in the winery & vineyard facility to preserve maximum aromatic expression.
