The story behind it
Château Haut-Rian was established by Michel Dietrich in 1989 after he gained winemaking experience in Alsace and Australia. Together with his wife, Isabelle, and daughter, Pauline, they craft expressive, terroir-driven estate wines that reflect the classic freshness of Bordeaux.
Château Haut-Rian is nestled in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, where clay-limestone soils provide the perfect terroir for classic white varietals. The family-run winery & vineyard employs sustainable farming practices to preserve the vibrant characteristics of their estate fruit.
