The story behind it

The maker

The Chambord brand was revitalized and brought to international renown starting in the late 20th century, drawing on centuries of French culinary maceration heritage. It is owned and managed by Brown-Forman, who maintains its authentic French preparation techniques utilizing premium cognac and natural berry infusions.

How it is made

Chambord is produced at the La Sistiere Chateau in Cour-Cheverny, in the heart of France's Loire Valley. The formulation is inspired by a legendary raspberry liqueur presented to King Louis XIV during his visit to Château de Chambord in the late 17th century.
