The story behind it
Founded in 2013 by Nick Shields in Norwalk, Connecticut, the brand revolutionized the beverage industry by introducing the first widely distributed hard seltzer. Later acquired by Anheuser-Busch, it was rebranded to BON & VIV to focus on botanical-inspired, light fruit flavors.
BON & VIV, originally launched as SpikedSeltzer, was a pioneer in creating the modern hard seltzer category. It utilizes a purified cold-fermentation process of simple sugars to yield a clean, neutral alcohol base.
