The story behind it
Beaulieu Vineyard was founded in 1900 by Georges de Latour and his wife Fernande in Rutherford, California. Fernande named the estate 'Beau Lieu' or 'beautiful place' upon seeing the stunning landscape, and the winery quickly grew to become one of Napa Valley's most historic and enduring properties.
