The story behind it
Founded in California by winemaker Bob Blue, 1000 Stories was born out of a desire to think outside the traditional wine barrel. By experimenting with used bourbon casks, he created a new, richly expressive style of Cabernet Sauvignon that honors the spirit of American craftsmanship.
This wine represents a unique fusion of California winemaking with the rich heritage of Kentucky bourbon aging. Selected lots are finished in charred bourbon casks to impart a distinctive, bold character that traditional oak aging cannot replicate.
