Espolón was founded in 1998 by Master Distiller Cirilo Oropeza with the dream of creating a tequila so good he'd want to share it with the world. The brand's iconic labels pay homage to 19th-century artist José Guadalupe Posada and Mexico's rich artistic history.
Handcrafted in the Los Altos Highlands of Jalisco, this tequila is produced at the San Nicolas Distillery. The agave piñas are slowly cooked in autoclaves for over twenty hours before undergoing a dual column and pot still distillation process.
