Lunazul was founded by Francisco Beckmann, a eighth-generation descendant of the historic Jose Cuervo family, with the goal of creating high-quality, estate-grown tequila. Established in 2002, the Tierra de Agaves estate remains committed to traditional production methods.
Estate-grown agave is harvested in Tequila, Jalisco, and processed at the Tierra de Agaves distillery. The pinas are slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens to maximize sweetness and preserve pure agave flavors.
