Cîroc was founded in 2003 by Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, a charismatic winemaker from a long line of Bordeaux vintners, who envisioned a luxury vodka crafted from grapes instead of grain. In 2007, the brand partnered with entertainment mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, catapulting it to global cultural prominence through pioneering lifestyle marketing.
Cîroc is produced at the historic Distillerie de Chevanceaux in the South of France, where master distiller Jean-Sébastien Robicquet employs traditional techniques. The grapes are cold-fermented and distilled five times, with the final distillation occurring in a bespoke copper pot still.
