Created in 1997 by American businessman Sidney Frank and Maître de Chai François Thibault, Grey Goose revolutionized the luxury vodka category by establishing its production in France. Thibault, utilizing his extensive training in cognac production, designed a bespoke process from crop to cork to ensure unparalleled quality.
Grey Goose is distilled in the gastronomy capital of Picardie before being sent to Cognac, France, where it is blended with pristine spring water from a limestone well in Gensac-la-Pallue. Under the guidance of Cellar Master François Thibault, the production process utilizes a continuous column distillation method designed to preserve the character of the winter wheat.
