Created by American businessman Sidney Frank in 1997, Grey Goose was designed to bring French luxury craftsmanship to the high-end vodka market. François Thibault, a French Maître de Chai (Cellar Master) who originally trained in cognac production, developed the recipe and continues to oversee the quality of every batch.
Grey Goose is distilled in Picardy, the breadbasket of France, using the finest single-source soft winter wheat. The spirit is then sent to Cognac, where it is blended with naturally filtered spring water from a deep limestone well in Gensac-la-Pallue.
