The Reina family has safeguarded the secret recipe of Disaronno for generations, bringing it to the global stage in the 20th century. Today, Illva Saronno continues to operate from its historic home in Lombardy, preserving the classic decanter bottle designed by a master glassmaker from Murano.
Dating back to 1525, this legendary formulation was created in Saronno, Italy, as a gift of gratitude to the artist Bernardino Luini. It is produced to this day using a secret recipe of apricot kernel oil, burnt sugar, and seventeen selected herbs and fruits at the family production estate.
