Tears of Llorona was created by Master Distiller Germán González Gorrochotegui, who sought to craft a sipping tequila that could rival the world's finest cognacs and single malts. Inspired by the classic Mexican legend, this ultra-premium spirit represents the pinnacle of his family's multi-generational distilling heritage.
This exceptional tequila is produced at the Tequileña Distillery (NOM 1146) in Tequila, Jalisco, utilizing traditional brick ovens and copper pot stills. It undergoes a unique five-year aging process in three distinct types of European oak casks, which are later masterfully blended.
