Casamigos was founded in 2013 by long-time friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman. Originally created as a private house tequila for their personal use in Cabo San Lucas, the ultra-smooth spirit was brought to the public market due to overwhelming demand.
Crafted from hand-selected 100% Blue Weber agaves grown in the rich volcanic clay soil of the Jalisco Highlands. The agaves are slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours before undergoing an extra-slow fermentation process.
