Casamigos was founded in 2013 by long-time friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman. Originally created as a private house tequila to enjoy with friends, the brand's name translates to 'House of Friends' and represents the ultimate spirit of relaxed hospitality.
Produced at the San Nicolas Distillery in Jalisco, this tequila is crafted using agaves harvested after maturing for seven to nine years. The agaves are slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens for seventy-two hours and fermented using a proprietary yeast blend.
