Midnight Moon was introduced by Piedmont Distillers, founded in 2005 in Madison, North Carolina as the state's first legal distillery since Prohibition. Partnering with NASCAR legend Junior Johnson, the brand was created to bring authentic, high-quality southern moonshine recipes out of the shadows and onto retail shelves.
This recipe is inspired by legendary bootlegger Junior Johnson, whose family crafted high-quality spirits in the hills of North Carolina. Produced at a modern craft distillery, it utilizes a traditional copper pot still to ensure a refined, high-quality base spirit.
